Working With BIM Show Live

This year, we’re proud to have added BIM Show Live to the list of fantastic events we’re working on. The huge two-day conference is held at the popular venue, Boiler Shop, Newcastle and takes place February 26th and 27th 2020.

BIM Show Live is a 4-track event with talks organised by four streams: People, Technology, Stories and NextGen. Their Call for Papers is currently underway, asking for the best in BIM to bring their knowledge to share with their peers. There’s also the BIM Awards, an awards ceremony as part of the event which celebrates outstanding projects that have taken place during the previous 12 months. Free to enter, people can nominate a project they feel meets the criteria of one of the 10 categories, or even apply themselves to showcase their innovative use of BIM. The deadline for both the Call for Papers and BIM Awards is 7th November so those wishing to take part or be recognised will need to hurry to apply.

An exciting new award has been launched for 2020 in-line with the theme for the upcoming conference – The ‘BIM For Good’ Award. BIM has become such an important part of the construction sector in recent years, that it seems important to demonstrate the new ways that it can be used rather than simply working through an exhaustive list of what it can do.

Collaborating with the brilliant BeaconHouse Events and the other great teams involved in this production,  we’ve been asked to provide a range of our digital services to the event to assist with organic/paid advertising and on-the-day event coverage.

Here at Ovationly, we love the events we get to work on each year but it’s always exciting to have a new challenge and the chance to apply our experience and passion to something different.
