What did we do?
In 2019, we were excited to collaborate with BeaconHouse Events on BIM Show Live and the BIM Awards. The concept, originally thought up ten years ago, was to provide an event for the emerging BIM community and it has gone from strength to strength every year since.
We were tasked with creating and managing content, implementation of an organic and paid social strategy and working with the client’s in-house design team to develop assets that would capture the personality of the event.

BIM Show Live
During our time working on this year’s edition of BIM Show Live, we were able to increase brand presence across all four social platforms that we were releasing content on:

During this time we used a range of content to engage the BIM Show Live audience and ultimately to drive traffic to the website to create opportunity for applications to participate as a speaker or awards nominee or to buy tickets. Throughout our social campaign we used a range of copy using emojis, gifs, images and video and some topical posts and tongue in cheek content too.
BIM Awards
We created great looking, on-brand content for the BIM Awards and also did live coverage of the awards ceremony tagging sponsors and winners to further reach and potential for sharing.

Paid Social
We used paid advertising to highlight and bolster significant deadlines and outcomes in the lead up to BIM Show Live including:
- Call For Papers
- Awards Nominations
- Promote ticket sales

We're pleased to announce that 3D design, engineering, and entertainment software company @Autodesk_UKI are once again supporting #BIMShowLive as a Silver sponsor in 2020.

Promoting the Benefits of Sponsorship
For each organisation that became a sponsor, an image and content was created that was used to highlight their involvement with the event and also became a highly shareable asset.
Thinking of the Future
During the build up to the event and for a period following it, we promoted the BIM Show Live mailing list to steadily support the growth of their email contacts to draw on for next year.
