What did we do?
Following the success of our work on Dynamo, we were asked to provide social media support with the North East’s largest cyber security festival, #CyberFest. Going virtual for 2020, we were tasked with driving traffic to the sign-up pages through paid advertising campaigns across Facebook and Instagram.
With ten cyber security events running across the region over a 4-week period, target audiences varied for each event. We ensured the right eyes were seeing the events suited to them through modifying and refining target audiences to suit each event.
Through our paid social campaigning, overall awareness was created for the event as well as the promotion of free registrations. From aiming advertising towards students and young professionals making a start in their cyber career, to targeting well established professionals, we successfully created audiences to make sure people were seeing the events most suited to them.
Despite the obvious curveball’s 2020 has thrown our way, #CyberFest had a roaringly successful event for its third year, just this year virtual!
