What did we do?
Following the success of our work on Dynamo 20, we were asked to develop and deliver a paid social media strategy to advertise the annual Dynamites awards ceremony for 2020.
Part of the Dynamo stable, this hugely popular event has been an integral part of the North East tech scene since 2014, and celebrates and showcases talent in the region so it was important for it to continue in spite of the unprecedented circumstances.
As the most popular and enjoyed event in the Dynamo portfolio, our objective was to encourage nominations and ticket sales for the virtual awards ceremony.
We planned three phases of paid advertising. They were put in place to raise awareness of the event, provide information and ultimately convert into registrations to the event. Part of our campaigning also included encouraging attendees to support the events partnership with local charity, Local Heroes North East with a Food & Drink Celebration Pack.
A great excuse to get out of our loungewear and get dressed up!
Across 4 paid ad sets, we created over 200,000 impressions which encouraged sign-ups to the event and submission of nominations.
The popularity and enjoyment of Dynamites 20 was not hampered by the pandemic and a successful virtual celebration took place!
